Michael C. Mesbah, MD

Michael Mesbah, MD attended the prestigious seven year accelerated Sophie Davis BioMedical program at CCNY obtaining his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. Dr. Mesbah is Board Certified with over 20 years of private practice experience. He is dedicated to providing Obstetrics and Gynecological care to women of all ages. His experience and expertise in Obstetrics has made him one of the most respected physicians on Long Island. He has extensive training Gynecological Surgery including minimally invasive laparoscopy, vaginal surgery and is a certified Robotic Surgeon. His philosophy is to provide the latest cutting edge medical care to his patients in a compassionate and personalized fashion.


Karen A. Wheeler, CNM, CNP


Karen A. Wheeler, CNM, CNP

Karen Wheeler ,CNM,CNP has been in practice for over 20 years providing both obstetrical and well woman care. She is a graduate of SUNY Margaret Sanger Planned Parenthood of NYC from their Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program as well as SUNY Downstate Medical Center Midwifery Program and received her BS from SUNY Empire St. College.

Karen finds being a part of the community providing care is especially important to her. In her free time, Karen is an avid reader and also enjoys photography, walking, biking and knitting. Karen is an active member in her parish.

Michele Mesbah, RN

Michele Mesbah received her RN/BSN degree from Adelphi University in 1988. Her career in women’s healthcare began as a nurse at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York specializing in high risk Obstetrics & Gynecology. She transitioned into the maternity unit where she educated new mothers on baby care and breastfeeding. This led to her true passion which was working on the labor and delivery unit which is where she spent most of her nursing career.

Michele has taken all of her experience and education in women’s healthcare to the next level by becoming a Certified Childbirth Educator where she is able to teach newly expecting couples how to prepare for their delivery and newborn babies. Her knowledge as a nurse and mother of three children give her a well rounded view on this amazing experience.


Brenda Janotha, EdD, DNP, RN, ANP-BC, FNP-C


Brenda Janotha

Brenda Janotha, EdD, DNP, RN, ANP-BC, FNP-C is a clinical expert with more than 20 years of clinical practice in Primary Care and Women’s Health. Dr. Janotha earned her Doctor of Nursing practice from Columbia University. She is one of only 100 Diplomates of Comprehensive Care, a certification developed and offered by the National Board of Medical Examiners, using an examination to test the same competencies as those on the MD licensing examination. She is a contributor to evidence-based clinical practice serving on expert panels, publishing, presenting, and spearheading research. She serves as a content expert for a top regarded peer-reviewed publication that provides colleagues with resources to advance care and improve patient outcomes. She has earned awards for her clinical practice and innovations including recognition from the Association of American Medical Colleges and Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council. Her professional contributions mirror her commitment to improving practice in novel and impactful ways.

Brittany Kelly, FNP, CLC


Brittany Kelly

Brittany Kelly, FNP, CLC completed her BSN from SUNY Binghamton in 2009 and her NP degree at Long Island University in 2018. She worked 10 years as a nurse at NYU where she spent most of her time in the Neonatal ICU, taking care of mothers and babies. She is also a Certified Lactation Counselor and provides lactation education to women during their pregnancy and postpartum.  Brittany has experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner working in Urogynecology, Obstetrics/gynecology and Urgent care.
