Brenda Janotha, EdD, DNP, RN, ANP-BC, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner at Mesbah OB/GYN in Garden City, New York. Dr. Janotha is a primary care provider and educator.
After completing her undergraduate work at Molloy College in Rockville Centre, New York, Dr. Janotha continued her education at her alma mater, earning a Master of Science in Adult and Family Nursing.
She went on to complete a Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Columbia University in New York City and an Educational Doctorate in Human Development and Education Psychology at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
In addition to patient care, Dr. Janotha is an associate professor of nursing at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) in New York City, New York.
Dr. Janotha’s service to the community and her profession hasn’t gone unnoticed. She has received the Health Care Hero Award: Nurse Educator from Long Island Business News and Nurse of the Year Award from Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Jarotha was also a nominee for the Nursing Excellence Award from Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council.
