I completely understand when there are emergencies that interrupt schedules having been pregnant twice myself. I know that takes precedence. It would be considerate though to let the other patients know that they are running late so that they themselves can adjust their schedules. The communication between the staff and the patients in the waiting room concerning this matter could definitely have been better.
